in a patch delivery you will only find the applications that needed to
be patched.
Solution
The SAP Instance Framework can be found on the MDM 7.1 DVD or on the
SAP Service Marketplace at
http://service.sap.com/swdc -> SAP Installations & Upgrades -> Entry by
Application Group -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP MDM -> SAP NETWEAVER MDM 7.1
-> Installation -> Downloads
However, this installation package did not need to be patched so far,
so you can not find it in the patch delivery. You can safely use the
package that you found on the installation DVD; however, we highly
recommend that you copy that package to your local disk before choosing
it in the installer. Otherwise the installer might pick the MDM
installation packages from the DVD as well.
In the installation dialog you can either choose the
path to the LABEL.ASC file or the path to the folder that contains the
LABEL.ASC file. Both will work.
