Solution
The simplest way to delete a map in the Import Manager is in the
following way:
1. Log on to the Import Manager.
2. Press “File->Open…”
3. Select the map you would like to delete from the available maps.
4. Press “Delete”.
5. Conform deletion of the map by press “Yes”.

Solution
The simplest way to delete a map in the MDM Syndicator GUI is in the following way:
1. Log on to the Syndicator Gui.
2. Press “File->Delete”.
3. Select the maps you would like to delete.
4. Press “OK”.
5. Confirm the deletion of the maps by pressing “OK”.

MDIS fails with Cant use complex import maps in this release

MDIS import job does not start or fails with error.
In MDM import server log the following message appears:
“…Can’t use Complex Import Maps in this release.”

Complex import maps are maps which have at least one ‘explicit join’ node. An ‘explicit join’ means that the join is inside-out, meaning the direction of the join is from a child node to its parent node.
A common reason for adding an ‘explicit join’ in XML is when the XML segment selected as the ‘Source Hierarchy table’ in IM GUI, and a required value for the mapping exists in its parent or sibling segment.
