Symptom
You have installed MDM 5.5 and you are experiencing performance issues

- long lasting load time of a repository (Load Repository in Console)
- increasing memory usage
- increasing database / repository size
- long time when adding/updating or deleting a record

The performance of your MDM installation is not only depending on the
hardware parameters like CPU and main storage size, it is also depending a lot of the architecture and detail design of your repositories.
Solution
Please take a few minutes and review your MDM repositories via Console paying attention to the following possible improvements:

You would to Add/Delete one or more languages from a MDM repository.

Solution
In order to Add/Delete a language from a MDM repository, please do the
following:
1. Connect to the repository that you would like to Add/Delete a language for using the MDM Console.
2. Click on the MDM Server that the repository is mounted on.
3. Select the repository in question from the repository list on the
right.
4. Double-Click on the “Languages” property in the Repository Details
pane below.
5. Select the language you would to Add/Delete from the “Available Languages” list (in case you would like to add a language) or from the “Selected Languages” list (in case you would like to delete a language).
6. Press Add/Delete.
7. Press Shift+Enter to save your action.
8. Press Yes to confirm you action.

Symptom
You would like to delete one or more Import maps from the MDM Import Manager

Solution
The simplest way to delete a map in the Import Manager is in the
following way:
1. Log on to the Import Manager.
2. Press “File->Open…”
3. Select the map you would like to delete from the available maps.
4. Press “Delete”.
5. Conform deletion of the map by press “Yes”.

You would like to delete one or more Syndication maps from the MDM Syndicator GUI

Solution
The simplest way to delete a map in the MDM Syndicator GUI is in the following way:
1. Log on to the Syndicator Gui.
2. Press “File->Delete”.
3. Select the maps you would like to delete.
4. Press “OK”.
5. Confirm the deletion of the maps by pressing “OK”.
