Download / Shipment
SAP decided to ship SP06 within a monitored shipment process to ensure a smooth introduction of new capabilities at our customers:
Knowledge about project scope and requirementsGather first feedback on new capabilities and their adoptionProvide proactive support based on this information
During the monitored shipment phase customers will receive MDM on request after completing the short questionnaire attached to this note and creating a Support Message
(Component: MDM-FN Short Text Prefix: SP06 Shipment request).

Please note that the Patch 0 shipment of MDM 5.5 SP06 contains installers for MDM Servers on all supported operating systems except Linux PPC.
The installation files for Linux PPC can be downloaded from the “Support Packages and Patches” area of the Software Distribution Center on the SAP Service Marketplace as soon as MDM 5.5 SP06 Patch1 is released: http://service.sap.com/swdc

MDM JAVA API 5.5:
MDM4J is deprecated since SP05. Please check related note 1029549
MDM SYNDICATION SERVER 5.5 (UNIX only):
Please set the following parameter in the mdss.ini:
Auto Syndication Task Delay (seconds)=10
The mdss ini can be found under ~mdm/mdss/mdss.ini (Default installation)

Known Issues
Computing Center Management System (CCMS) for MDM is now also
supported for following Unix platforms: Linux and AIX.
The corresponding shared objects are to be found within the MDM
Server component download packages.
Microsoft Office 2007 supported by Data Manager; not supported by Import Manager and Import Server.
Families Table and MDM Publisher not Supported in MDM 5.5 SP06 Patch 0
InXight Support on Unix Platforms only on AIX and HP-UX Itanium. Additional support planned for SP06 Patch01
