Reason and Prerequisites
The default limit on the number of records shown in the Preview tab is set to unlimited. The setting is per user.
The Preview becomes extremely slow even though initially the Preview tab was not even selected.
Solution
Start the Syndicator UI and then change the limit in the configuration options from 0 to a reasonable value (the recommended value is 20). Do this under each user account that will be used to run the Syndicator UI.
